Wild Honey has two full time experienced beekeepers who tend to all aspects of the health and management of our bees.
We are proud participants in a voluntary Bee Pathogen Programme Study conducted by the Ministry of Primary Industries, who deploy a group of scientists to visit our hives and 60 other aparies nationwide on a regular basis to monitor, test, record and compare any evidence of various viruses and the overall health and condition of our bees.
We take the upmost care of our bees so that we produce excellent export quality manuka honey.

Our reputation for honey production and export rests on the integrity of our products and the credibility of our systems.
The Ministry for Primary Industries (MPI) has developed a robust and sophisticated scientific definition that can be used to authenticate whether or not a particular honey is New Zealand Manuka honey, and we follow their guidelines and obtain tests from authorized laboratories for every batch we produce and which are readily available to all our customers.
This ensures:
* That overseas regulators have confidence in the assurances we give them about our Mānuka honey
* Consumers in export countries are confident they are getting the real deal.
